C Program to Store Information of a Student Using Structure

This program stores the information (name, roll and marks) of a student and displays it on the screen using structures.

To understand this example, you should have the knowledge of the following C programming topics:

In this program, a structure, student is created.

This structure has three members: name (string), roll (integer) and marks (float).

Then, a structure variable s is created to store information and display it on the screen.

Example: Store Information and Display it Using Structure

#include <stdio.h>
struct student
    char name[50];
    int roll;
    float marks;
} s;

int main()
    printf("Enter information:\n");

    printf("Enter name: ");
    scanf("%s", s.name);

    printf("Enter roll number: ");
    scanf("%d", &s.roll);

    printf("Enter marks: ");
    scanf("%f", &s.marks);

    printf("Displaying Information:\n");

    printf("Name: ");

    printf("Roll number: %d\n",s.roll);

    printf("Marks: %.1f\n", s.marks);

    return 0;

Enter information:
Enter name: Jack
Enter roll number: 23
Enter marks: 34.5
Displaying Information:
Name: Jack
Roll number: 23
Marks: 34.5
